Our first #WOWSAA of the year will be with Jared Lyle! Join us Tuesday, Oct. 11, from4-5pm at the Interuniversity Consortium for Political and Social Research for what promises to be a very interesting discussion.
Lyle is an Associate Archivist and the Director of Curation Services at ICPSR. As an Associate Archivist, he participates in ICPSR policy decisions about data management and preservation. The department he directs, Curation Services, handles metadata, bibliographic information collection, and digital preservation. Lyle is also the Director of the Data Documentation Initiative (DDI) Alliance and is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Information. In Lyle’s discussion, he will provide an overview of ICPSR as well as share current opportunities and challenges. He is interested in fielding your questions!
Are you looking for on campus employment? Here’s a list of current job postings. Luckily there are quite a few ARM/PI related jobs that are still available (although this list is by no means exhaustive.)
If you have questions about any positions, email email@example.com, and we can probably connect you to someone who works at any of these places or has worked there.
If you are interested, it is recommended that you apply ASAP, because hiring season is going on now!
